Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Missions and outreach at Lee Street CRC are a commitment to follow Jesus into many places worldwide and in our Lee Street neighborhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Lee Street CRC provides both regular support and special funding to our 12 partner missionaries and organizations.  We believe the Holy Spirit is actively working in the hearts of his people all around the world and we respond with prayer, encouragement, and financial support. Lee Street CRC also supports missionaries in restricted countries which are unnamed for security reasons.

• Ray & Angie DeLange: The DeLanges serve in the United Kingdom and reach out to a designated Middle East group. The mission organization they represent is East-West Ministries.  
• Al & Lisa Gemmen:  The Gemmens are missionaries with InnerCHANGE (NOVO).  The goal of the ministry is to establish a missional community where people on the margins of society can experience the love of Jesus.  They are currently working in the Godfrey-Lee community and previously ministered in a Haitian community in Miami.
• Ruth Jansen: Ruth is a Mobilization Coach through TeachBeyond. She also in charge of special events.
• Geoff & Tammy Kooistra: The Kooistras work from their home in West Michigan after years of serving and living in Quito, Ecuador. Geoff and Tammy work through Reach Beyond. Their focus is engineering, maintenance and administration for Christian radio station HCJB.
• Dorothy Meyer: Dorothy teaches as a volunteer in a Christian school in Cristo Rey, northern Belize, Central America. Her mission agency is Resonate Global Missions.
• Ruth Veltkamp: Ruth instructs and supports Christians in Nigeria and in the U.S. about reaching out to Muslims. She works through Ambassadors of Peace.
• Mario & Yolanda Matos:  Mario and Yolanda have been serving as missionaries in the Dominican Republic since 2006 with Resonate Global Missions.  Mario is the executive director of the Sinergia Transformational Leadership Foundation.
• Jesse & Jari Rodriguez: Missionaries in Nicaragua, Jesse and Jari work through Resonate Global Mission. Jesse focuses on teaching financial stewardship based on biblical foundations. Jari helps medical outreach teams in Nicaragua and is studying online at Calvin College.
• Paul & Charlotte Mpindi: Missionaries with Mission French Africa Ministries, Paul and Charlotte often traveled to countries in Africa to teach and preach the gospel. They also have a powerful radio network.
• Gary & Rachel De Leon:  In 2023 they are starting a ministry in Spain to work with refugees and immigrants.  They previously served in Guatemala.  The De Leon’s minister through Resonate Global Missions.
